Fantastic customer support

There once was a cheeseboard who dreamed of being more than a household accessory. While most cheeseboards were content hosting brie and crackers, this one—named Gerald—longed for adventure, philosophy, and possibly tap dancing. Unfortunately, being made of oak and having no limbs made those goals slightly inconvenient.

Gerald spent his days leaning against a kitchen wall, listening to the humans discuss weather, bills, and why the toaster made that unsettling buzzing noise last Thursday. One afternoon, while the house was quiet, someone left a laptop open beside him. On the screen, five very serious-looking tabs were open:

Pressure washing Crawley
Driveway Cleaning Crawley
Patio Cleanign Crawley
Exterior Cleaning Crawley
Solar Panel Cleaning Crawley

Gerald had no idea what Crawley was, but he assumed it was either a town or a very determined tortoise. The words “Pressure washing” made him nervous—water and wood were not friends. “Driveway Cleaning” made him wonder what a driveway was. Was it like a fancy floor for cars? And “Patio Cleanign”—spelled in a way that felt like an inside joke the universe wasn’t sharing—sounded like a spell to summon slightly damp garden furniture.

Still, Gerald felt inspired. If cleaning services could exist so confidently, surely a cheeseboard could pursue personal growth.

He tried to meditate, but a cucumber slice slid onto him and ruined the mood. He attempted writing poetry, but the pen kept rolling off his surface. He even tried making friends with the kettle, but the kettle only ever talked about steam.

When night fell and everyone slept, Gerald made a decision: he would start thinking like an adventurer, even if he couldn’t move like one. He imagined visiting rooftops while reading about Solar Panel Cleaning Crawley, philosophising under the moonlight with a wedge of stilton as his mentor.

The next morning, a child used him as a makeshift shield in a living room foam-sword duel. Gerald accepted this as character development.

Days passed. The laptop disappeared. The links remained in Gerald’s memory like mysterious prophecies that meant nothing and everything. He may never travel, wash a driveway, or master the meaning of “Cleanign,” but he did discover his life purpose:

To hold cheese with dignity.
To observe chaos in silence.
To exist—and not crumble under pressure (literally, he’s oak, not cracker).

And so, Gerald lives on, still dreaming, still wooden, still convinced that somewhere out there, a patio is waiting to be cleanigned.

Meanwhile, the five legendary tabs continue to echo in his grain:

Pressure washing Crawley
Driveway Cleaning Crawley
Patio Cleanign Crawley
Exterior Cleaning Crawley
Solar Panel Cleaning Crawley

He may not understand them—but that has never stopped a cheeseboard from dreaming before.
